Beti Bachao Beti Padhao :- The declining sex ratio over the years has led to discrimination and discrimination against women in girls, which necessitates ensuring the safety and empowerment of women.

Consequently, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) was launched by the Prime Minister of India on 22 January 2015 in Panipat, Haryana. BBBP as a combination of three ministries - Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare and Human Resource Development.


Purpose of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)


Originally, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was unheard of with the aim of addressing the falling child sex ratio (CSR) and other issues related to women empowerment:


  • Helping to eliminate gender-based discrimination and elimination

  • For the protection and protection of girls

  • To provide education to the girl child and enable their participation
